Also as Nigel Farage is not getting his due recognition in this thread I'm proposing a modification to the existing rule:

12. Anyone on the NHS Haters list must mention Nigel Farage in a complimentary way whenever they post in this thread. It must be part of a proper sentence, and they can’t re-use the sentences. Exemption applies to any posts OrangeRKN makes that are purely for Nomic game admin purposes. Anyone on the NHS Haters list who fails to include a unique mention of Nigel Farage in a post will be docked 1 point.

According to rule 10 (under core rules):

Any disagreement over the interpretation of a rule must be settled by majority vote.

Am I right in saying you think that Karl's rule proposal should not be adopted as law, as he violated rule 12 (under posting restrictions) in proposing it?

If so, I believe we need a majority vote to clarify our interpretation.

To prevent further confusion, I will ensure this post is valid regardless of outcome by saying Nigel Farage has such impressively human looking skin.

There’s no interpretation. Karl’s proposal was invalid. Voting on an illegitimate proposal is meaningless. Karl’s rule must be removed from the rule set.

And he doesn’t get a point in his above post, for the same reason.

Can you point to the part in the rules where "valid" and "invalid" posts are defined, please?

To be clear, Karl has not once been complimentary about Nigel Farage, so his entire “contribution” to the game since rule 12 was adopted is void.

That's an interesting idea. You should propose that as an amendment to your rule, so that it would be in the rules of the game.

Seems like that would be an effective patch for rinks' badly-thought-through rule. Will he put his legendary ego aside and accept Jenuall's help?

WINNING CONDITION

Your team wins if a member of your team makes a post which has no following post for a duration of 12 hours.

Ie. A member of your team has the "last" post in the thread for 12 hours.
