I'll propose a new rule:

Further to the rule that allows players to post "I Love You, But I'm Stealing Your Point" to steal points from other players, players may not post more than once consecutively to steal multiple points, effective immediately as of the moment this rule is passed.

Definitely supporting this. And the ‘screw Dan’ rule.

Downvoting Karl_’s Aberration condition, but they definitely need a wincon. Probably to do with posting restrictions.

Clarification: Is this stopping that player from posting ANYTHING following an "I Love You" post, or just stopping them posting a string of "I Love You" posts? As the condition for stealing points is based on the person you are stealing from not replying within 3 posts then the points thief can just post three more times immediately afterwards to guarantee that they win the points.

I think either an "I Love You" post should prevent the person trying to steal the points from being able to post again for a set period of time or that the condition should be changed to something like:

unless the quoted player makes a post of their own with the subject line "Not Today, Baby" no more than three posts (excluding posts by the points thief) after the "I Love You..." post.

To be fair, do the Investigators have a wincon yet? I don’t think mine’s been voted up.

I think the 30 points target is a good suggestion but it still feels hard to judge whether that target is to high or low as the player base is unstable (as are the rules to be fair! )

Can we have a win con for the Abberations regarding player numbers, i.e. if the Abberations number greater than the Investigators and someone posts "WIN!" then the Abberations win the game?

This would obviously rely on rules that allow the numbers in each group to change, and some way for the abberations to identify one another and who the investigators are!

Yes. That's the risk with attempting to steal a point: you then can't post again until someone else does.

What about the points mark? If Aberrations are posing as Investigators and they have a collective points total to target then it'll add an intriguing dynamic as players' points totals are open knowledge, but their identities aren't.
