I like to think that the d4 dice roll to assign us to the two teams actually resulted in everyone being made an Investigator anyway and we're all just sat here arguing over powers and win conditions for a team of players that don't exist! :lol:

Or they’re all among the inactives. There’s an easy way to resolve that, you know...

An Aberration player can spend five Forum Doubloons to target their corrupting influence at another player by PMing the Game Master with "Corrupt [username]". The targeted player will be in a corrupted state for the next 48 hours, and will not be made aware of this. Any investigations (see rule 22) made against a corrupted player will return as showing them in the Aberrations team, regardless of their true team alignment.

More participation encouragement, and more Forum Doubloons in play.

How many inactives have we got in the game? Feels like it may be easy for a team to lose just because people aren't really playing!

If all the Aberrations are inactive then that’s their fault.

Hopefully this’ll give some of them a kick if so!

It's more likely to harm Investigators as far as I can tell.

Statistically there are going to be a lot more Investigators than Aberrations but ALL members of a team must post within a 72h period. If there's only one Aberration and that person keeps posting every so often then they stay in the game, but it only takes one Investigator to stop posting for a few days and the game is up!

...bugger me, I’ve just realised the difficulty of interpretation! I meant ‘if all of them don’t’; so if any of them do then it’s all good.

Is that something that can be interpreted thus, GM, or would I need to submit a formal change?
