It's definitely up there for me, but I'm surprised as I think it has a lot in common with MGS (which I also rate very highly).

The only game I have played that feels similar to it is SnowRunner.

I much preferred Policenauts, Snatcher and Boktai to any of the MGS games. I just hate stealth.

I think the game mechanics, traversal, etc are absolutely brilliant. But the story and info dumps are horrific and, for that reason, I'm out when it comes to a sequel. Kojima's overindulgence is just a massive turn off. Worked great for MGS but he really has jumped the shark now.

I played the Director's Cut version of this a while back and put a few hours into it. Gameplay-wise it was pretty good and it looked absolutely beautiful, but I had zero interest in the story so ended up skipping most of the cutscenes. Just wanted to get back to walking :lol:

Can confirm. I played MudRunner on Switch and it was ace; I also dabbled with Sowrunner on PS4 and that was very good, too.

There are so many cool moments in that trailer. When those eyes open, though... oh boy!

Quite a cool trailer, but not my favourite of his. I liked the little puppet thing that was running at 24fps or whatever. Hopefully they can get it running at a full 60 on the PS5 Pro though.
