It’s £29.99 (Was £47.99) at Sainsbury’s/Argos.

I think I may get it now for Christmas.

Made a start on this yesterday, it's bloody huge. And I bought the DLC so I'll probably be finished this in a few years time. Loving the upgrades and the boat, the graphics and world are all also brilliantly done.

Not doing much assassin stuff, mostly sword fights and looting.

Wish my image sig would work

Been playing through this lately after picking up the ultimate edition during Prime Day.

I've gotten to about Level 32, but much of my gear was starting to lag behind, but I was also lacking in materials and money to upgrade all of them since upgrading Yellow gear costs a fortune.
Fortunately I'm playing on PC, so rather than being pushed into either monotonous grinding or Ubisofts microtransaction store, I could just pull up Cheat Engine and have it let me upgrade even when I didn't have enough resources.

It's pretty clear the game wants to try and push you towards microtransactions in order to buy boosters so you can upgrade the best gear, rather than using the drip feed of Blue/Purple gear that's a bit higher level/stats for a while. strawberry float that noise in a singleplayer game though.

Don't bother upgrading as you'll always find better stuff sooner enough.

I only upgrade the Yellow gear, and only when it's ones I like the appearance of.

Cheers for the heads-up.

I'll download it tomorrow.

Bought the Season Pass for £15.99 and it's included:

Legacy of the First Blade
The Fate of Atlantis
Assassin's Creed III REMASTERED including Assassin's Creed Liberation REMASTERED.

8-)

Just completed the main campaign and I felt it was little disappointing. The story was weak yet the Cult story was rather good.

I haven’t finished it yet and I need to brush off a lot of things. At this rate I’m much preferred Origins.

I do like Odyssey, but yes Origins is the better game overall. Origins feels more rounded and less 'lets see how much we can chuck at the player' as it is with Odyssey. Origins definitely has the better story as well.

28% trophy left for the main game. It's been a little slog to play this now but I determined to finish it off 100%.

Jeez, fourth or fifth post in a row! :fp:

Anyway I've Platinum'ed this for the main game. So glad it's over so I can move on to a new game.

I will return soon to do the DLCs.

And... Finally it's all done!

First Blade - 7/10
Fate of Atlantis - 4/10

The latter DLC was so boring and pointless. No need for this to be honest.

Glad it's all over!

Downloaded the free weekend demo this morning and whilst it looks lovely I just cant get on with the combat controls, they're just not that good.

I suppose it depends on how you play.
I was mainly a bow user but used a massive legendary fire hammer thingy for the mass battles.
I also enjoyed stealthing and executing people as that was quite effective.
I did however get a bit annoyed at how often I'd be set up by the bloody bounty hunters for just a little tiny bit of murder. I'd start doing a leader house or fort and some strawberry floater objected to me just charging in and going on a rampage and put a bounty on me the inconsiderate twats.

I'm really interested in seeing what gets upgraded in the visual department as the game already looks amazing on One X and I assume looks even better on PC. If it looks that good on software that has to run on One S as a baseline it's sure going to be a visual treat when next gen is the graphics benchmark to start from.

Yes! The advantages of generally being 3-4 years being the times in gaming!

And the update is only 468MB! At the same time, Watch Dogs: Legion has a 41GB update. Nuts.

Wonder if they will get around to doing Origins also. 60fps makes such a difference.
