Ireckon the Scottish lad who's name I've forgotten is going to be the winner in the end, but we've not really seen him stressed yet, except for a little this week, so he could still crumble.

Is he not northern Irish?! Assuming it’s Mark you’re on about :slol:
Also, Lottie

I saw Lottie in the flesh a few weeks back. Knew I recognised her but couldn't place where from until a few days later when I watched the next episode.

Have you seen last week's episode?

It's Peter I'm on about. And he's from Edinburgh, apparently, so at least I'm not going mad.

I know it's not popular, but the right person went this week. It was a toss up between two bakers having a bad week, and Laura edged it by presenting something that at least tasted good.

Although going by the trail for next week's episode, she won't be lasting much longer either. I counted at least 2 dropped bakes by her alone.

I think what did for her was that she ignored Paul Hollywood's advice and proceeded with a conceptually flawed idea. He never seems to like it when people crack on against his judgment and it doesn't work out. I think the wrong baker went, because Laura has been circling the drain for a couple of weeks now and can't really handle the pressure, but Lottie won last week and put up good quiches last night. Even her finger doughnuts weren't bad. Lottie can do better than last night whereas Laura is at her limit.

I may have blurted out "You got rid of the fittest one for that!" when Laura had her mishap in the trail for next week :slol:

+1 for the Lottie fanclub. She has an angry face sometimes but she is clearly actually lovely, and her sense of humour are dry and perfect.

Laura doing well this week, certainly justifying her continued presence at the expense of Lottie

I don't know whether the challenges are more difficult or the contestants are getting worse.
