Great episode this week. Loved the chaos at the end of the Showstopper

Ridiculously I got a bit choked up when the Bengali lady started crying at the deconstructed things at the end

She permanently looks like she's about to burst into tears and it irritates me to an incredible degree. That being said, some of her facial expressions whilst baking are utterly fantastic. Ian is doing my head in

She constantly looks like she is on a set of train tracks or at the end of a gun barrel or something, always worried, even when things are going well.

She had an incredible few seconds of blind panic on her face the other day, I properly cracked up. Excellent.

Mat seems like a decent guy, although always looks like he's on the brink of sneezing his brains out. Don't get the Ian hate. Flora's got that really annoying soft, posh, Scottish accent so I hope she goes next.

Seeing her on her knees in front of the oven makes me feel tingly down below.
And the gasp/shriek she did when she announced the temperature of her pie (lol) just now.

Well, Mat was pretty gooseberry fool today. Whereas Tamal was shit-hot.

I can't believe anyone ever thought Martha was better.

Some of the bitterness, jealousy and general ill-feeling is starting to creep into the contestants now. Maybe it's just the editing but there was plenty of dirty looks last night

Don't know why they bothered doing a Victorian week either.

I predicted Martha to be star baker last night (something I do with the gf before the start of each show). I haven't been right once yet this season.

I completely agree on the bitchy looks - we picked up on it and found it very funny. I did really enjoy the idea of a Victorian week though - although the tennis cake was a slightly gooseberry fool challenge IMO.

As soon as there was the shot of Mat stood there gormlessly eating something while everyone else worked around him, it was obvious they were going.

Also - I do believe everyone is starting to hate Ian - I'm not sure why but there's something about him that really irritates me - Dem bitchy looks at his Queen Victoria showstopper.

Ian does come across as rather smug, IMO.

The crown was impressive but you just know they all hate him for it.

He was star baker three times in a row and then makes a cake with a crown on top? What a banana split.

Ian is a total banana split. I've hated him for a while. The guy is so smug. Loved it when he didn't get star baker as you could tell he was seething. He's the equivalent of the big headed kid at school who cries when someone gets a higher mark than them.
