strawberry float UNESCO. I want to live in an actual working 21st century city, not leave acres of unused land derelict.

This came up on my Twitter this morning: https://alondoninheritance.com/london-b ... er-tavern/

I love this building, I could see it from my house growing up and it just looks so cool. It's probably why I'm sad when I see 60s brutalist buildings being thrown away so readily. There's going to be nothing left of the style.

Despite a campaign to save it, Birmingham's Ringway Centre seems doomed to demolition, to be replaced by a modern block. It was bad enough that we lost the old Bullring to a could-be-anywhere mall. The shops under Ringway and the surrounding area were a big part of my younger days. I fondly remember walking these streets at 2am, after seeing Love/Hate at Goldwyn's.

How can the Co-Op Arena be SUCH a shitshow?!

Keane show is off, and now Take That are walking away (five dates!) as a precaution.

Sounds like the Co-Op are providing a valuable public service.
