Hello once again everyone, to the 2024 version of the general motorsport thread
As I previously posted in the 2023 thread, I'm not going to do a summary for the 2023 season, it was a Red Bull whitewash barring a sprint race and then a Grand Prix, Verstappen's worst finish was 5th
Perez was nowhere, Ferrari and Mercedes were nowhere for most of the season, just a dire season of F1 really
I think the little highlights from 2023 were Piastri looking like the best rookie maybe since Verstappen, alongside McLaren's strong second half of the year, Williams and Albon being much improved compared to 2022 and lastly Alonso's/Aston Martins strong start to the year.
How's everyone spending the off season? Playing some racing games? Or trying your hand at managing an F1 team in F1 Manager? Personally I keep dipping back into ACC, recently fallen back in love with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car from 2021, a brilliant car to try and tame, even if I fail often
Like with last years, I'll take nominations for a thread title again as well.
