Dynasty Warriors 9 (PS4) - 6

I've always found to pretty much ignore reviews for the Warriors series of games. You either like them or you don't. Been playing, and thoroughly enjoying, Warriors All-Stars which didn't review all that well, (70% on metacritic), with views of it being a cheap spin-off, which is exactly what it is but not to the detriment of it being a lot of fun.

True, man. I quite like Warriors games and this is the first one in a while that I'm not picking up at launch. Not because I don't want to, but because I can't really justify it when I haven't touched DW 8 Empires, Samurai Warriors 4 and Berserk.

Yeah, I always wait for them to come down in price because they often do and quite quickly. Is DW 9 the open world entry?

It is, dude, and that may be a mis-step. I don't think Jim Sterling (Jimquisition; and pretty much a fan of DW) is overly fond of it, based on one or two hints in his last (unrelated) Jimquisition vid... unless I was reading that wrong.

These EA UFC games really don't seem as good as the THQ Yukes ones. Which is ironic, considering Yukes continue to phone in their WWE titles.

Wait Dynasty Warriors is out on the 13th?

I am seriously in trouble. I'm already booked up with Monster Hunter, but now Kingdom Come Deliverance and Dynasty Warriors 9 are both launching on the same day.

Speaking of Kingdom Come Deliverance, why no mention in the mag? :(

Also their scores are right out.... MHW and Celeste should both clearly be 10s B)

It did get a four-page preview in the previous edition, Orange. I like the sound of it, too - I've watched a couple of vids on YouTube - and it looks interesting. I'll be keeping an eye open!
