Am I right in thinking that the official wireless PS4 headset (for around £80 odd) can be used wirelessly on the PS3 and PS4 for both games and movies (including ones downloaded or streamed via the laptop/ pc)?

Lastly, do people recommend them?

They are excellent. Wireless on the PC, PS3 & PS4 and work well with the packaged lead on most other things.

Well worth the moolah.

Cool, thanks - never invested in a decent pair of headphones for gaming or otherwise and will improve the gaming experience as well as enhance online party chat etc. Best place to get it?

Got one of these badboys yesterday and WOW!

It really makes a difference on he games - tried out Assassins Creed 4 on PS4 and you could hear everything that was going on around you!

Was so simple to setup on PS3 and PS4, although with PS4 you have to manually set all audio to the headphones.

On PC it is simply plug and play!

Look forward to playing more games using the headset, which is comfortable and pretty light, although feels a touch flimsy.

Got it for £72.85 from Argos - they seem to have plenty of stock everywhere and it is generally hard to find or £80+
