1 is amazing, gameplay and story are both beautiful and has one of the best moments in all of gaming. The world of Rapture, the music and the opening reveal, it's .... Better than half life for an intro. It's that good.

2 has better gameplay and lets you use powers and weapons at the same time. Story is still strong but not as good as part 1.

3 I have not been able to finish. It's very restricted and powers and weapons are boring compare to previous games. Looks lovely and has an amazing supporting character and brilliant sound. I just miss the original setting.

Wish my image sig would work

2 is the best. Easily. It also holds up the best today.

As far as intro’s go 1 and 3 are genuinely jaw dropping.

Well I'm guessing they realised that people might feel that way considering the DLC takes place in Rapture and they weave elements of the original game into Infinite in a really cool way which I won't spoil. As a whole it's definitely my favourite of the 3, the story is even more interesting to watch when you know what happens at the end. I think people forget how hard the first game falls off after your confrontation with Ryan.

I mean, they literally have identical weapons and powers so I don't really get that criticism. Plus the sky lines open up the combat a ton. It feels more based on skill rather than how many first aid kits you have stocked up. Although the vigor that turns you into Neo is a little OP

Bioshock 1 and 2 in collection just got 4K and HDR support according to Xbox store (both had big updates today). Infinite just says ‘Xbox Enhanced’.

In playing 1, it looks higher res alright.

Seems they’ve fixed the sound bugs too. You no longer hear (Godamn) Sploicers through several walls.

Just a small thing on anyone who plays this on Series consoles. 2K inexplicably disabled being able to take screenshots or record clips (at least on Xbox) but if you run this game via quick resume (play it, play something else and go back) you can actually record clips and take screenshots. Also, the bug on Xbox One X 4K update for Bioshock 1 and 2 which hitched unless you played offline is now vanishes on Series X so you get at full 4K and solid 60fps for both (1440p 60 for Infinite).

Looks and runs beautifully but now regularly crashes. Lost a few hours progress already and I’m only at Fort Frolic

I've had 3 crashes going through B1, I now save often.

Just lost another hour or so there after jumping through Sander Cohen’s hoops, absolutely raging. What a jip.
