Well I'm guessing they realised that people might feel that way considering the DLC takes place in Rapture and they weave elements of the original game into Infinite in a really cool way which I won't spoil. As a whole it's definitely my favourite of the 3, the story is even more interesting to watch when you know what happens at the end. I think people forget how hard the first game falls off after your confrontation with Ryan.
I mean, they literally have identical weapons and powers so I don't really get that criticism. Plus the sky lines open up the combat a ton. It feels more based on skill rather than how many first aid kits you have stocked up. Although the vigor that turns you into Neo is a little OP
