Only on PlayStation Collection - UK exclusive

Came across this while looking through the gaming news this morning. Sony are releasing a series of cool looking new artwork sleeves for boxed editions of some of the PS4 exclusive titles. Bizarrely, though, they're only available in the UK. Given that physical media is dying on it's ass here with surviving stores and supermarkets selling less and less range I'm not sure where you'll be able to buy them.

I saw them, Gem and - yeah - they really are lovely!

They're exclusive to GAME. For a brief moment I thought I'd love to get 'em (or, at least one) but I'm not gonna pay out again for a game that I have.

The covers are fantastic designs, though. I wonder if they're thin cardboard or of decent quality?

GAME exclusive? I must have missed that bit. Ah gooseberry fool, why do these companies keep giving this dying retailer special treatment. I would've liked the BloodBorne one being as I don't own a copy.

*edit* Checked their website. To be fair at least they're not charging top dollar as per their usual MO. £15 for Bloodborne. I may have to order a copy then.

Shame they're just the vanilla versions without DLC.

I'd love to get The Last Guardian one... but it's £29.99 and I can't justify that when I have a download version already.

Wonderful designs for folks who don't have these games, though.

Yeah they missed a trick there. Perhaps even bundling them with DLC codes would have encouraged sales of the sleeves on their own.

Zavvi has really reduced their videogames presence recently otherwise it would have made sense to give it to them seeing as they already seem to get all this type of limited edition stuff for Blu Rays and merchandise.

Wipeout is a strange one to include as they've done both a sleeve (in a PS1 design) and a steelbook.

They all look very nice though.

It was only a matter of time before this movie trend reached videogames. I'm mostly worn down on it really - they are pretty cynical "make it look artsy because silhouettes and papery textures are artsy" designs.

Wipeout looks neat. I like the blocked out ship shapes, they suit it well (although I'd prefer solid block colour rather than the textured look, that would suit the wipeout aesthetic better). On the other hand Horizon looks incredibly lazy - they've just drag-and-dropped her standard pose artwork and subtracted it (TLG and TLOU don't fare much better).
