pleasantly surprised to find this versions achievements are not linked to the original. so 2000 if you've got both and are able to get them.

Been playing it for the first time, absolutely loving it. Wracked up a load of deaths but it's just the right amount of difficulty of hard but not frustrating so far. Playing the DE version on normal difficulty. Looks and sounds gorgeous as well.

The escape the tree sequence was frustrating for me. Got there in the end.

Yep, that was the one frustrating bit so far, many deaths.

It wasn't an escape, I just don't get how you get about without constant damage being taken.

Haven't got to it yet. Just completed the second escape sequence. Utter bullshit. Game is pretty good apart from the take no prisoners difficulty level. I like a good, fair challenge, this sometimes feels frustrating and a little cheap.

Beat. The last sequence wasn't so bad, actually.

The ending was wonderful. I wonder how the definitive edition scales down difficulty? That could be one of the best XB1 games if they sorted out the difficulty curve.

The difficulty level is the same on normal except Fast Travel was added. The DE just added an easy (& hard/1 life) difficulty modes. I assume you can take more hits on easy.

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Comes to Windows 10 and Steam on April 27

One of the most gorgeous games of 2015 has become even more spectacular in 2016 with Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, which hit Xbox One last month. Next week, on April 27, gamers on Windows 10 and Steam will get the chance to see how this recipient of over 30 industry game awards (including numerous E3 awards, the Golden Joystick Award for Best Xbox Game, the Best Art Direction Award from The Game Awards, Outstanding Achievement in Original Composition from the D.I.C.E. Summit, The Game Developer’s Choice Award for Best Debut, the Artistic Achievement award from the BAFTAs and more) in 2015 has gotten even better.

Played this last night for a couple of hours, it feels like some parts are quite trial and error and you learn from your mistakes. I keep forgetting to regularly save and I end up making progress, getting killed and then starting all the way back to the last save point which can be annoying.

That opening scene though, what a punch to the gut to start! Lovely looking game though and I found it to be quite addictive so will put more time into it later

I picked this up a few weeks ago and have been collecting everything as I go along. Currently at 99% and so I think it's going to be over once I have finished the fire temple place.

Great game, I'm playing on normal difficulty and haven't found it too much of a challenge and it's just delightful all the way through.

The parts I find the most annoying are the escape sequences, done the first 2 so far and 60% complete. I have only been able to find 1 life upgrade so far, they are well hidden
