We had a charity bake sale today. There were a couple of people behind me in the queue.

Person 1: So have they got any sausage rolls?
Person 2: No, it’s a cake sale
Person 1: It said a bake sale, don’t you bake sausage rolls?
Person 2: I guess but I can only see cake
Person 1: But I wanted a sausage roll, didn’t anybody think to make them?
Person 2: There’s chocolate cake.

We got nearer to the front.

Person 1: See there are sausage rolls! I told you there would be.
Person 2: I don’t like sausage rolls, I’m getting a brownie.
Person 1: Are there any muffins?

Those thoughtless baking bastards.

Too busy trying to do something nice for charity to think of baking a vast selection of both sweet and savoury goods for the hard working folks at MoggyCorp.

Not that I can recall, but its probably for the best as there was also a hand up his backside.

I don't think that counts as a leg, though.

Person 1: So this girl on the train had an amazing scar.
Person 2: For Halloween or from an accident?
Person 1: I dunno actually, I thought it was Halloween makeup but maybe it was real?
Person 2: Haha, I hope you didn’t say anything to her!
Person 1: Nah, I was just staring at it.

Depends on the size of your bosom, I'm a double G and so I always make sure I am covered up even leaving the bathroom at home. I see some women don't care about showing off but I always make sure my nipples are not showing through my top.

Well in South Shields, that is definitely true. Especially now Taybarns is gone.

I genuinely can't tell what Taybarns is, even in context. Are they a person, potentially the previous MP who did a better job that the current one? Is it a bar that's closed down? Is it a festival that's been cancelled? Is it a company that employed a lot of people in the area and it's loss means lots of unemployed?

Overheard a guy at work saying how he dislikes nandos and Jaime Oliver's restaurants because it's hard proper eating out and quality dining is it. Whilst he himself had 2 paninnis and a pot noodle as his lunch.

I sort of do something similar when my daughter starts acting like a little gooseberry fool on the rare occasions while out. Only I like to tell her kids have been murdered for less. Seems to do the trick.

My dad has a friend from church whose son very sadly died earlier this month aged 29. At his funeral there were a lot of people in the 15-35 age bracket as you'd expect, and a lot of them weren't Christian so had no real knowledge of Christianity/Catholicism. One of the family friends happens to be an archbishop, who upon hearing the news cleared his diary and was one of several clergy who took part in the funeral. He stood out from the other priests on the altar because he was wearing his full regalia (including mitre). After the funeral a young person walks up to my dad's friend to pay their respects and compliment her on the service.

"Beautiful service, it was good you got the Pope to come..."
