That's fair! Not out to nitpick anyone's experiences. There are fan communities for other things that I've had bad experiences with too, so like I say, I do sympathise.

I've had nice interactions with Dark Soulsy people via streaming. I'd say the DS community is alright.

I found Nier automata to be very overrated, the amount people talk about it I was expecting something amazing. I got a solid action game and that’s about it.

It's all about the narrative, it's a weird weird game with multiple unique endings and each play-through largely being very different to the last time you rolled credits.

If you've no interest in a weird story then yeah it feels like a Devil May Cry clone.
