That hair
Also, this game is all about space control, so saying you can beat Bridgette by playing keep away isn't really much help most of the time.

Is this game still popular?
Looking for a decent online FPS that isn't buggy or full of loot crap.

Short answer; yes.
Long answer; it's one of the most popular online shooters in the world.

I was watching GINX the other day (don't ask why), and they were showing a tournamemnt of this, I'd almost forgotten it existed.
Might check it out, thanks.

It has 40 million sales so I'd say it's pretty popular

It is however full of (cosmetic) loot crap.

I'm guilty of purchasing outfits on Uncharted 4, I'm OK with that

You don't have to stand around in Brigitte's zone waiting to get bashed to take control of the space she's in. Ranged characters control space they see, not space they're in.

Sure, but so long as she has her barrier up they don't really control any space. That's why she's so good.

Eh? Go play Brigitte and sit 30 yards away from a ranged DPS with your shield up. Report back on who you feel controlled the space you are in.
Brigitte is "so good" because she has an overtuned ult and great synergy with deathball. The former needs tweaking, but the latter isn't a bad thing. I hope it means we'll see mirror deathball on flat maps and mirror dive on maps with verticality, instead of just mirror dive all the time. Mirror dive has been the standard meta since, what, Competitive Season 3? Season 2 in Korea IIRC (they caught on faster).

Think I'll get the Sym and Bastion ones.
Still can't believe how awful the Tracer one is though.
