I love the vibes this game gives off but so genuinely hate the gameplay.

Can't stand games heavily based around abilities.

At least it's not at launch, like some updates have been.

They could have let it preload yesterday though. Apex usually lets you preload the seasonal update the day before.

Seems a bit unnecessary, now the old game is already switched off. At least it’s “only” 30GB in total. Didn’t realise it was an 8pm start.

No, it’s essentially a v2.0 update, but now free to play. But some things will be initially locked to new players, gradually unlocking as you play more.

No. But if you owned the first game you have a lot more unlocked (modes, characters I believe) from the start.

Otherwise you're a First time users and have to play lots of matches to unlock stuff (e.g 50 matches to unlock comp mode I think previous said)

Yeah that's pretty small for a modern game. I guess the artstyle helps a lot. Less need for complex textures.

It launches at 8pm UK time across all formats, no pre-load unless you bought the pack thingy.

If you have Overwatch 1 installed it will just update with a 30GB patch which should be out around 5pm

I won't be on anyway as I'll be watching the CL but I'll give this a proper go over the weekend.

Playing a lot of online MP games at the mo, I'm back into Ranked Halo Infinite along with Crossfire X which is actually not sh*t! It's CoD without perks mixed with Counter Strike which is fine by me.
