You can of course have pancakes whenever you want. Everyone already knows that so there's no need to be a boring bastard who talks about how they won't let the man tell them when to eat pancakes. We all hate you.

I have some leftover sauce from a sticky toffee pudding left in the fridge so I'll be trying that on pancakes this year.

Nothing beats lots of lemon and sugar. Everything else is always a let down. Though, I always mean to try making those puffy Japanese style pancakes sometime.

Lemon juice and sugar all the way. I can never be arsed though - can't remember the last time I had pancakes on pancake day. Must be 10+ years.

I work at a place that sometimes makes pancake mix. It's my job to test them to make sure they're ok.

I've had enough bloody pancakes to last me a lifetime.

I've not made them for yonks either, have needed new nonstick labs really as the ones I have had until recently were old and battered and not very nonstick any more.

I have new ones now I just can't be arsed.

We'll be having ours with some apple/caramel and chocolate/pear sauces my sister got us from a trip to France. The wife wanted them last week as well so we had a trial run - turns out I too need a new crepe pan!

Sugar and lemon is the only way the good Lord intended pancakes to be eaten, and with a fork and spoon!
