As well as not being an RPG its also ugly, boring and has bad characters. Which is why people don't like it.

Not even in fun. :capnscotty:

Banjo wrote:For me, the disappointment of the post-TTYD games is that it feels like that style is being retired, and it's been far from oversaturated. I like me some turn-based combat, and it was nice to effectively have a JRPG that doesn't have all of the... more questionable... stuff that plagues that genre. I rarely go back to JRPG's as the weeaboo stuff is just too cringeworthy, but TTYD is still effortlessly playable and enjoyabale to this day.

Edea's bikini was an INTEGRAL part of the Bravely Default experience and the CENSORED game is now COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE

Maybe I need to revisit Super Paper Mario, as I haven't played it since it was new, but I really disliked it at the time. I had assumed that was the standard opinion across the board tbh, so I'm a little surprised to see so many positive posts about it.

doesn't look as though that stupid sticker battle system is in the game so my interest has been peaked.

I think the metroid bit is a self-deprecating joke about not seeing the series for so long.

I mean it's not that long...2017 was the last release.

It's teasing 2D Metroid. Clearly. :shifty:

I’d be blatheringly happy instead of blatheringly irritated if that helps.
