Come back Cable, all is forgiven.
You look back though and the dawn of Sky+ in 2001, or the lesser known Tivo before that, was close to ideal. Okay so you had to remember when everything was on to record it, but at least back then Sky did actually have everything. Unfortunately the arrival of PremPlus at around about the same time was a sign of things to come.
Streaming is better in the sense of no contracts, no commercials, and the ability to control your spend. With cable and satellite you often ended up paying for stuff you may have had no interest in. Streaming has become a massive pain in keeping track of where everything is and remembering to cancel one service just to sign up to another. You could have like 15 different streaming accounts!
