I'm up in Manchester till the end of the week. Can anybody suggest the best place to park? I've just looked at that just park app and it seems to suggest I can park for the week for a tenner.
Is there anywhere u can park for free though?

You'd be very lucky to find free parking for more than an hour in the city centre.

Where on earth are you parking for a week for £10, out of curiosity? Half the places I've tried charge that for an afternoon!

There's a shitload of free parking around Didsbury, which is a 20 minute tram ride from the city centre.

It's somebodies drive they appear to be renting though JustPark it's about a half hour walk somewhere called Georgette Drive in Blackfriars.

I'm not a motorist so it's tricky for me to say with certainty. Shop around but at peak times it's bloody expensive. 10 a week is an absolute steal. My town Prestwich is about twenty mins tram ride away. There's parking near the tram station.

Cheers I managed to get somewhere for about 20 for the week. It was just inside Salford. Parking in the centre is insanely expensive though. The place my hotel recommended was 25 a day although they do give a 25% discount. I can actually park in London for less than that though.

Next time you're up - drop me a Pm. I'll come and you a cappuccino and you can grill me in person.
