Berkeley Green yesterday, full of injury but still managed a 22:42. I really would like to know what I would get if fully fit. That’s 37 different parkruns now

Having to give parkrun a rest due to injury. I think I’ve done my Achilles in an continued to run on it. Went to woolacombe last weekend which is suppose to be the 2nd hardest parkrun in the UK. It was hot and it was a very hard run.

Ive been getting off and on injuries for a few weeks now. - If you dont have premiership football level doctors, rest is the best thing to do.

Woolacombe is one of the hardest because of the soft sand and the dunes - not done it myself, so ive heard and thats totally understandable. That probably doesnt help with he injury getting.

26 Stratford-upon-Avon 1.4
27 Edgbaston Reservoir 1.4
28 Victoria 1.4
29 Riverfront 1.4
30 Groe 1.4

Of those ive done stretford and alexandra - both very flat. I know stretford is alot more crowded now so it might be trickier to get a better time. Im suprised some of the promenade parkruns that ive done - morcambe and fleetwood, arent on there. Those are two of my fastest, i guess youve got to do them when its not windy.

Slowest

26 Conyngham Hall 5.1
27 Uckfield 5.0
28 Squerryes Winery 5.0
29 Cheadle Hulme 5.0
30 Pendle 5.0

Ive done lyme park, wepre and pendle - all have big hills so i can see why those are tough. Ive also done cheadle hulme - that was just muddy so that made it difficult. And chaddeton hall despite the hill, im sure is about 400m long, so i think thats why thats on there.

Got a course PB at Guildford parkrun on Saturday. Considering I have hardly done any running this year I was very happy with that! Went from 23:08 to 22:52. My overall parkrun PB is still 21:39 at Upton Court.

I've just signed up for a half marathon in March. I'm used to slowly completing ultramarathons, so it will be good to work on improving base and speed instead over the next 6 months. Hoping my parkrun time also comes down.

Where are you planning to do the Z? I've done Zuiderpark in the Hauge- which I would recommend as a holiday on its own (which is why I was there, and just happened to get the Z).

Without meaningful to go of top topic is The Hague worth visiting?

I can get a ferry over from Easy Anglia and it's been in my radar to do for sometime but I'm yet to bite.

Yes it's good for a long weekend. Delft (the home of the famous white & blue pottery) is on the tram network as well as Scheveningen which is a beach side town which I really liked.

Just under 25 minutes but I did feel it in my Achilles. Still a long was off my average of last year which was around 22 minutes but at least I'm no longer tired after my run.
