Did a park run for the first time since pandemic started and got 26:36 :fp: (Better pace then I usually do in jogging) but still slacked off compared to pre-covid.

Did a slow parkrun this weekend, was just nice to be out running with injuries at the moment. Will be travelling to Rogiet this weekend for my 30th different parkrun.

Well done. Do you find youre travelling much for the different parkruns? I found that much more than an hour drive is too much.

Got a new higher place on the weekend, went to Stonehouse and came in 4th with a time of 22:12. Annoyingly if I ran it last week I would have been 1st

I had this a few weeks ago at my local one, all the people faster than me didn't turn up, I went to a different parkrun as wanted an easy run as I was racing Sunday and the person who won my usual one is slower than me :fp:

Any other week and that would have been mine 8-)

A mate and I did the 2nd ever Parkrun in Vienna which he won, checked last weekend's times and it looks like all the fast Austrians have found it as he wouldn't have come in the top 10 (despite they're only being 47 runners).

Will be in Germany this weekend so get to complete one in my 4th (inc UK) country.

I'm finding the running challenges extension on Chrome to be quite interesting.

I have set myself some mini targets this year to progress some of them

Aims are

Get to 100 Parkrun this year (currently on 70)
Get to at least 50 at my local parkrun but I should easily pass this (currently on 40)
Get to at 25 at my second most local (currently on 19)
Get my P index to 4 - Need to do another 2 at another one
Get my tourist number up to 12 locations (currently on 8)

Long-term aim is to get 100 at my local and then 100 at my second local after that. Also want 20 tourist locations.

Anyone else have any silly targets, I know it doesn't mean a lot but its something to do and gives Parkrun a new dimension.

Ive already got most of my targets.

The one im going for at the moment is to get 3 more events into double figures - all are on 9 so that shouldnt be too hard.
I stiil need 32s for stopwatch bingo.
50 at my three next most events would be more of a long term goal (theyre all at 25-30).
Ive got to 50 different events, so getting to 100 would involve traveling a bit too far. But I also want to get some overseas ones. And one in Scotland - theres supposed to be one starting at Holyrood so i want to try that. Ireland / Northern Ireland would be good too. maybe Jersey and the Isle of Man as well.

Get the 5K app it has all the challenges on there plus all your details and where you have completed a parkrun.

It was really fun. The Liverpool Irish centre did a "takeover" with dancing and music at the finish line on the second parkrun.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Congrats

Did Marine Parade again yesterday, they had moved to their B course on the sand and it was pretty good. Came 13th out of 161 runners

I thought I won my parkrun in January, sprint finished to the line thinking I had won.

Didn't see the guy at the start who was like 3 minutes quicker than me :fp:
