No run for me this week, I did do a freedom run after my RD stint.

Well Durlston was a very hard run. My times at the moment have been averaging around 22:15 minutes, I did Durlston in 25:14 and came 11th! that will give you an indication of the toughness of the course. They did say add 5 minutes to your average time but I am glad that didn't happen.

It is the hilliest parkrun in the UK! 207 meters of elevation!

Jesmond Dene done and that's my "J" Didn't want to push it because of the GNR but ended with Negative Splits due to the amount of people I needed to get past! Not the greatest time but the last KM I did in 4:04 minutes.

Been ill all week but still managed to hit a new 5km PB of 20:44 had the parkrun been spot on that would have been a new parkrun PB too but it was 0.08km too long so ended it at 21:02. Was nice to do my first parkrun abroad. Read more on my blog.

Another solid run yesterday at Quakers, finished with a time of 21:01 however, missed the funnel and had to go back and go through the funnel which costed me a couple of seconds and 4 places. Seems Quakers have accidently deleted all their results and it's showing nothing now, hope they sort it out.

Returned to Chipping Sodbury for the second time, went for a PB but got stung by a wasp on lap 2 so the pain started to set in quickly and my 4th km I slowed down by 10 seconds before picking back up for the final km. Still beat my course record bringing it down from 23:32 to 21:05.

Ended up at Woodhouse Moor in Leeds last weekend due to Fountains Abbey being cancelled because of the storm. Running with Fatigue at the moment so time was shite! took 7 1/2 hours to get there due to the traffic. Planned again for March time.

Rubix, I want you to know I read your updates and I find them a great source of motivation as I try to recover from a severe Covid related chest infection so I can get back to parkrunning. I really want to get back to it, but the journey has been tough. Your posts help me.

Week 5 of couch to 5k done. Pacing is at around 6m30s per KM.

I can't wait to get back to park running. I always felt my weekends got off to the best start with them.

Got my volunteer 25 tshirt last week. Next up is volunteer 50 (didn’t realise that was a thing until I checked the website).
Had to give parkrun a miss though last time out though due to the flu.

Went to Lydiard on Saturday, deep puddles all around and 3 minutes slower than my average. I am suffering heavily with fatigue at the moment
