Amazing episode this week. Parks remains the best sitcom on NBC.

I've just started on Season 4 of this with the wife. Easily the best comedy on American, nay all, television.

Struggling along with Season 2.

Only done four episodes of it, and I still haven't laugh once. Not even one smirk.

Maybe skip ahead to season 3. I can't remember when season 2 got good.

What hour long special? Last week's ep which aired on Valentine's Day was the standard 20 minutes.

i think theres been some confusion my tv show app said parks and rec was on the other week but instead they did a 40min office ep and pushed parks back. my guess is maybe this weeks one was a 40min one but they have split it up now?

It's one of the most impressively consistent sitcoms I've ever watched, and it still appears to be in that golden period after a slightly shaky start.

I was especially impressed by how they handled Andy; a character who could have very easily been a one-joke wonder and who I thought they were going to write-out after season 1. But since he became part of the regular cast he's been amazing.

Oh God, and when he's taking Women's Studies.

Agree with all of this. For me it turned good as soon as (season 2 SPOILER) Mark left. I say that but I still enjoyed Season 1.

Even when the episodes aren't overly laugh out loud funny they are still incredibly enjoyable. Glad this is still good whilst The Office is just dying a sad death.

He wasn't a bad actor or anything like that, he was just...bland. There was nothing about Mark that was likable or anything. Honestly one of the most bland, un-charismatic characters in a comedy I've ever seen.

I think that was supposed to be his role. All the others are goofy, weird but he is the normal one.
