I haven't known anyone to watch Parks and not end up loving it. Season 1 is the worst as the writers weren't sure what they were doing and treated it like the Office spin-off it was originally going to be. Season 2 was a definite improvement and show got even better when Adam Scott and Rob Lowe joined the cast.

This is currently my favourite programme in the world. Ever.

About half way through series 3 and I've loved every episode (s1 isn't too bad, but 2 and 3 blow it away).

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Ron Swanson is a God amongst men. With Andy coming a close second.

I've also started talking like Chris (Rob Lowe's character from s3). I won't spoil it. You'll find out soon enough. And it's fantastic.

Parks is one of those great shows which inexplicably was never aired in the UK and it's hard to find on DVD.

Might have to start watching it now.

As The Office has gone to gooseberry fool recently, I shall watch this on your recommendation.

I wish Jean Ralphio was in it more.

But I really wish season 4 was on Netflix. :(

Friday evening Community/30 Rock/Parks and Rec is basically the highlight of my week.

I'm Ron strawberry floating Swanson.

When the current TV season is over I'll be diving straight into this. Probably at the expense of The Office

Just watched the first two episodes of this. Wasn't really impressed, but now I've read this thread and it turns out that the first season is the weakest.

And I know I'm going to love Ron.

That was an amazing episode. How are you finding S2 in comparison to the first?

I'm still really surprised that it still hasn't aired over here, but at least it's on Netflix.

Started watching this Sunday, absolutely loving it. Season 1 did feel a little weak but it ramped up with the first episode of Season 2. Already half way through the third season

There aren't enough 's in the world to convey how I feel about Ron. He's more than a Legend or an Icon. He is, just simply

I'm about a few episodes into the third series now, just watched the Harvest Episode last night. Wonderful stuff.

I'm tempted to try this - especially as Rashida Jones is in it  - but I'm put off by the inclusion of Aziz Ansari, who is desperately unfunny in everything I've seen him in so far.

Agreed. Makes me laugh nearly everytime he's on camera.

4x20- Oh Parks,Leslie's closing argument was great. I also like how the charming naivety Paul Rudd brings to Bobby Newport makes him impossible to dislike.

Hilarious episode this week, every part of the story hit it out of the park. 10/10.
