They are utterly determined to make this "surrender bill" label stick aren't they.

Again, tells you exactly was people he's trying to be populist for...

Brexit is going to destroy Boris just like it destroyed Maybot. It'll also most likely destroy whoever leads the country next, and the person after them, and the person after them...

Remember these are the people who probably wank themselves to bed each night whilst reciting Churchill's "We Shall Never Surrender" speech. They think everyone not 100% in on their blood-pact to restore some nonsense idea of an imperial England are traitors.

Including Churchill's grandson who, despite obviously being a Tory, is now being described as left wing.

I always find it odd "Churchill's grandson" is 'a thing'. Give him his own identify/agency etc - but then I remember it's Tories and the importance they put on bloodlines

Yeah bloodline is part of it but the main reason people keep bringing it up is because of the hero worship that surrounds Churchill. Leavers like to talk about WW2 all of the time, Johnson himself has written books on Churchill and the far right absolutely love old Winston.

So it is far more helpful to say “Johnson kicked out Churchill’s grandson” than “He kicked out Nicholas Soames”. Because most people have no idea who Soames is.

Is there really any point in ruling it unlawful given they've all closed up shop and strawberry floated off for 5 weeks? Absolutely nothing whatsoever will come of this. Nothing. There is no accountability in politics anymore.

It goes to show the real motives of the official vote leave campaign. They wanted sovereignty, but are more than happy to bork the sovereignty they do have. Parliament should be recalled.

As if anything will come of that. Scotland's courts are taken about as seriously in England as a bunch of clowns trying desperately to save their circus. :dread:

Proroguing was unlawful, according to Leadsom they will refuse to release the Yellowhammer documents and there are plenty of rumours that Johnson will refuse to request an extension even though he’s required to by law.

So much for getting back to Parliamentary sovereignty and following British law. But they will be cheered on by the fools who think the ends justify the means and who will be gaslit into thinking Parliament and the courts are the enemies of the people.

I can’t believe that was a published article on real website.

We should copy and paste the relationship thread into a google doc and forward them that. We could pay the server costs for years.

Supreme Court hearing on Tuesday.

In a summary of their findings, the Court of Session judges said they were unanimous in their belief that Mr Johnson's decision to suspend was motivated by the "improper purpose of stymying Parliament".

They added: "The Court will accordingly make an Order declaring that the Prime Minister's advice to HM the Queen and the prorogation which followed thereon was unlawful and is thus null and of no effect."

Their full judgment will be released on Friday.

I can't believe people don't wake up to the lies coming from the Tories. First it was the EU against us, then it was our own elected parliament, now its the courts. Maybe, just maybe they should consider that it could be themselves that are wrong!

It’s easier to fool people than convince them that they are being fooled.

Just look at how Leavers quickly went from “best and easiest trade deals in history!” to “WE DELIBERATELY VOTED TO BE POORER, WE KNEW THAT!!!”

It's realising too that we all exist in our own media/social bubbles that bias us to certain points of view. Those that still believe Brexit is worth pursuing do not believe as such for no reason; they're being told it's still worth pursuing.
