Are you not a fan of the genre, or was there some other reason why you didn't like it?

I guess I'm not the biggest fan of the genre but it looks and plays like a duller browner Diablo 3.

I am a fan of the genre, and Path of Exile is an excellent game. If you like brighter shinier examples then I suggest Torchlight 2, or the forthcoming online Torchlight: Frontiers or Warhammer: Chaosbane which comes out soon.
