I didn't even notice the lesbian element in the episode :fp: .
I'm not very good at noticing the sexy stuff in TV  .

Well it wasn't just Raffi, they were strongly implying that Seven was in a relationship with the criminal woman who turned out to be stripping former Borg drones for parts.

The more I look back on Picard the more terrible it gets. Having rewatched all the previous series recently I'm happy to say it's the worst of all of them, bar perhaps Discovery Season 3.

Season 2 in 2022.

I mean, I hated season 1, but that trailer has me sucked right in for season 2!

I mean if we cut down Star Trek series after a weak first season then we'd basically have no franchise so I'm willing to give this a second chance.

But yeah season 1 was largely a bag of shite

Well sounds like Q will be making a return, which is always going to be a huge bonus.

The talk about time makes it sound there's going to be Time travel shenanigans though, which can either go very well or very very badly when it comes to Star Trek, there generally doesn't tend to be an inbetween.

Honestly I enjoyed watching season 1 so I'm looking forward to Season 2 as well.

Season 2 will have Q and Guinan. That's all I need to know.

My son got into the new My Little Pony cartoon a few months ago. Was watching along with him (I'd pretend I was bored but it's actually a pretty watchable show :shifty:). I then hear John DeLancie playing this omnipotent pony god of chaos that shows up once or twice a season and traps all the ponies in alternate realities and other shenanigans. So as far as I'm concerned Q is MLP canon and I'll fight any other Brony who disagrees with me.

I still haven't finished Picard. Was like ten minutes from the end of the final episode.

Season 1 was a bit of a mis-fire IMO, it kind of limped along with a few moments of spark but overall the tone, plots and relationships rarely hit on anything that felt worthy of the original character and series.

I hope they've learned some lessons for season 2 as I'd love to see something great come from the continuation of Picard's story

Same here.
I'm going to try and not watch any of the teasers so I can go in blind.

Does it?! Where has the publicity been for this? That seems to have come out of nowhere!

Everything I've seen has been branded with Paramount + (Where it streams in the US).
Could be that they don't want to promote another streaming service before they launch it over here.

I didn't dislike the last season (Though I wasn't a fan of how it ended), but I'm mildly confident this season will be a bit better.

Yeah that probably makes sense, Paramount+ is due out over here at some point as well right? I imagine we'll get a big push for it when that happens.

I struggled through season 1 without ever really being able to say I was enjoying it. There were some good points in there but it was all very muddled with a lot of wasted potential. I can't see how they won't have learned from that though so I'm also pretty sure we'll see some improvement this time around

Discovery promised to learn from Seasons 1 and 2 and they still royally strawberry floated it up by continuing to make "Generic gritty grimdark sci-fi #3962"
