Nah I did not even get to the Beta section as I could not login.

So you are telling me they sent me a code on Wednesday afternoon, and it was only valid until Friday? Judging by previous expierences downloading on Uplay it would not have been 50% downloaded by then.

I was trying to get into the beta while it still had a day or two remaining but I couldn't even get into UPlay to redeem the beta code. At least I can say that I gave UPlay another chance and it still sucks.

UPlay :fp:

As mentioned in the Crew thread, I played the beta and was thoroughly unimpressed. Like, you might get some enjoyment out of cruising down the US, but it ain't worth £40 + Uplay + always online DRM.

It's official - remakes / remasters / re-releases / updates have gone way too far.

Atari are digging up Haunted House, the 1982 Atari VCS hit, and "re-imagining" it for a modern audience.

The original

Now I'll be honest and admit that I don't now remember too much about the original (you controlled a set of eye-balls and avoided ghosts!) but I'd genuinely rather pay a pound for the original game on, say, the 3DS than get this new version. As ever... "Atari :fp: ".

I had forgotten about that one! It actually looks better than the new one*.

* Metacritic confirms that it wasn't :-).

I am excited!

Also, Hexcells is 67p in the Steam weeklong deals this week. I just picked it up. I've heard it's good. ;)

Need a bit of help folks. Do you know of any PC games that allow 2 people to play on the one pc whilst allowing you to connect with friends and play on line. Much like Left 4 Dead on the 360 or Mario Kart on Wii U.

Cheers in advance.

Played CS GO tonight and followed the sound of someone's foot steps with my crosshair and they popped out right in my sights, right at the moment I expected them too. I've still got it. :datass: If anyone had been spectating, they would've thought I was wall hacking for sure.

Is CS happening again tonight? I should be able to get on before 8:30, if not at 8.

Dead Rising 3 seems like a decent port. There will be some trouble though as it seems to have a problem playing on laptops. Works fine on my desktop but refuses to work at all on the laptop (it's no slouch, 780m). So a lot of people will be kicking off tomorrow. But yeah has plenty of graphics options and unlocking to 60fps seems fine.
Isn't an option inside the game though which it should be. To get 60fps:
1. Create a “user.ini” file in the same folder as deadrising3.exe (for Windows 8.1 users it’s located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common).
2. Enter the following line in the file: “gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True” (no quotes).

Apparently the gmpcr stands for Glorious Master PC Race
