So what rig you got Rightey? Recommended specs are low even for my PC so hoping it looks as good.

Purely single player (unless its patched in)

Its FTL but you actually fly the ship.

This is what I have and it runs very smoothly (60FPS) with everything on max...

Apart from Windows 10 and my i5 being just the 6600 it's the same set up. Happy days.

Not going to buy much this summer sale either, I just went for those which had biggest sale prices and that would be Date Wrap, Firewatch and Speedrunners. I think that'll do me, although I do have eye on Tales of games... just if I'm going to buy it I'll have to play it as soon as possible rather than "oh I'll buy this now so I'll save more in long run!" which is bullshit excuse :slol:

Might get Trails in Cold Steel even though it hasn't been reduced that much as i can't see it going cheaper any time soon.

However, with Disgaea 5 soon to be arriving on PC I suspect that'll be occupying most of my time.

The 3 games on my Steam wish list are all on sale. Must resist.

Steam Links are a shade under a tenner including postage as well according to Kotaku (on holiday so not currently checking the sale myself).

For the hardware itself yes, but Valve charge £7.40 for delivery ontop of the hardware price.

Still cheaper than any other retailer mind.

Just keep in mind that the Steam Link is a pretty basic device as far as game streaming goes, hence the price tag. It can only do 1080p, no 4K streaming, and the sound is Stereo only, no 5.1 or 7.1. Also it's pretty much required that you connect it to your router via a cable. Using it wirelessly is incredibly laggy.

I actually use it on wifi and it works well, I think they've optimized the software since it first came out. I got one as a birthday present a few years ago but I couldn't use it at all because of the lag, but now it really does work quite well.

That being said, my modem is about 6m from the steam link, so it may also just be because I'm so close.

Mine throws a massive wobble for a few days every January. No idea why! Other than that it's fine, have used it wirelessly and over Homeplugs. I mostly play Civ on it because I can usually only play turn based stuff at the moment due to childcare, but have also played THPS, Portal and Lego Star Wars on it and they all seem to play well (unless it's January, see above). Occasional stream pixellation but totally playable. I want to get Quake Champions or Fortnite on the go on it, to test both it and the Steam controller with a multiplayer twitch shooter.

At ten quid for decent quality game and desktop streaming it's pretty much a must buy in my opinion if you don't have those things done another way. Looks fit as well :datass:

So how's everyone Everspace adventure going?

The furthest I got is right to the start of sector 4 :x

I got to the start of Sector 3 once somehow.
Need to try and do a good enough run to get 10,000 credits to upgrade to the gunboat ship.

I kickstarted Everspace, and played it quite a bit at launch. Not sure if they have changed it since them. But I had to take it down to easy until I got a few unlocks, the game is brutal without them

Like I say I have not played in ages, but I am tempted to buy the DLC and give it another play through
