I laughed.

I know it's not the same but for that money, you could buy both next gen consoles and a half-decent TV and sound system.

Even though I can afford that I could never justify that sort of expense on a gaming system, maybe I'm just a cheapscate.

Not flashy, but a good spec for the price. Zotac 3060Ti and i5 10400 for £900.

So with my triumphant return to PC gaming I decided to buy some games I’d looked on longingly at during my hiatus.

But only one matters. I’m losing my life to Power Wash Simulator. Possibly the most satisfying game of all time? I just can’t stop.

Ha. Classic. I’ve played and finished cyberpunk. But my most played game is xcom 2 or C&C Kane’s wrath and I am currently playing Mechwarrior 5. All of which would have been fine on my 1660super.

But I still want a 3080! PC gaming. :fp:

PC Building Simulator is free on Epic right now if you're into that sort of thing. It's a lot more of a game than I thought it would be tbh, can see myself actually dropping some time on it...

And here I am watching it, like a caveman who has just discovered fire.

I spent a load of money on a cleaning spray bottle and it doesn't appear to do anything.

You need both the bottle of cleaner and the attachment for the hose to attach it

I can't see any of those [insert mundane task or stupid concept] simulator games as anything other that gooseberry fool shovelware.

I've looked at a few and thought the same, but having played an hour of this, I have to say it is quite good.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the cleaning liquids at first, didn't seem to do much. Having a go on the some of the larger areas on the second level though, it seems much quicker than using just water. Helps when the game is a little lenient with when it classes the item as clean.

Nope!

Terrible card. 1080p. Wait. It’s also 50-100 over MSRP?

I think most GPUs are going to be overpriced atm but will avoid that one.

I think an AMD card would be easier to get hold of tbough, maybe a 6600XT.

Is there a website similar to Dekudeals where you can see the cheapest price a game has been on Steam/EGS and get notifications when it goes on sale?

I know https://isthereanydeal.com/ will show you current and historic lowest prices. I've never used notifications, but pretty sure you can set it to email you for price drops.

Epic games store have a sale on. Loads of people talking about massive savings compared to UK by going through VPN and getting to Russia/turkey. Some great games for very little, just means I have 2 accounts to load, and switch between. Seems a faff.

Nice one, was looking for something to keep tabs on prices for when I eventually grab a Steam Deck.
