This is a weird way to find out that Jacamo, the plus size clothing retailer, apparently sells tech. Including GPUs!

The idea that we now live in a world where the two pieces of information: "£745 GPU" and "Incredible deal" can be used seemingly un-ironically is quite breath-taking really.

This.

The sooner crypto currencies are made illegal the better, they just make it easier for criminals to hide their ill gotten cash and drive up PC hardware prices.

I find HDR is absolute garbage on my gaming monitors with 300 and 350 nits respectively. When I turn HDR on, it washes the colours out and it all looks grey. Not sure what difference this will make.

HDR is pointless on a monitor, I would rather not have my retinas burned out because I have to look at the surface of the sun less than 3 foot away.

The hot uk deals thread on this is hilarious but sad. I feel for them, but so many people jumped on this. It’s a sad state of affairs for GPUs.

It's not just about peak brightness, but colour range too.

It's yet to add anything that I must see, it's like motion blur, a setting that needs to be turned off at all costs.

Agree on blur. Throw ‘vignette’ and chromatic aberration in too.

If that's where the image 'splits' into separate RGB channels than I fully agree.

That’s the gooseberry fool. For a funny lens effect.

Genuinely thought my resolution setting was borked when I started up CP2077 for the first time. Turns out it was the awful, awful chromatic aberration effect CDPR had on as default.

Viking Direct was where I bought my desk from. Was the same price as Staples but also included free assembly from Viking.
