Sooooo.... Blade Runner is on GOG for £6.89

https://www.gog.com/game/blade_runner

Immerse yourself in the dark, gritty world of Los Angeles 2019, where you become both the hunter and the hunted.
Explore over 100 interactive environments including sets from the Ridley Scott’s 1982 movie.
Take part in a non-linear story that creates a unique experience every time you play.
Interact with over 70 motion-captured characters, all with their own AI and agendas.
Witness the climatic noir-style visuals, engulfed in smoke and rain.
Recognize the Hollywood cast from the original film including Sean Young, James Hong, Joe Turkel, Brion James, and William Sanderson.
Listen to the ambient, multi-track audio and hear the music which includes specially recreated cuts from the original Blade Runner soundtrack.
Step into the role of detective Ray McCoy and utilize Blade Runner tools you know from the movie. Use ESPER photo analysis machine to distinguish replicants from humans, and analyze all case clues with the Knowledge Integration Assistant.

The visuals are pretty strawberry floating good for a 12 year old game.

Confirmed to work on the following Windows (7, 8, 10), Linux (Ubuntu 18.04), Mac OS X (10.11+)

Does this load up first launch in some old resolution like 1024x768? Hate that with old games as it resizes any open windows...

Epic Store has a sale on at the moment were you get a £10 coupon to use on one of the sale games (think it has to be over £12 for it to apply) so got the Walking Dead Definitive Collection for £9.99 and when using said coupon with a purchase they give you another £10 coupon to use so ended up getting Control for £22. Happy days.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint can be had for £9.99 and so can Assassin's Creed Odyssey undecided which to get though with my 3rd £10 coupon (buying them also gives you access to them in the Uplay app once its linked with the Epic Store)

I'm probably going to use that to get Untitled Goose Game and Manifold Garden cheap, not sure what else to go for, I have no real interest in ubisoft open world games anymore but will keep an eye out. Don't forget they're doing a free game a day until 2020 (todays is Into the Breach), so hold on as there aren't that many games on the store that they haven't given away already.

Just ordered a new GPU for my system after getting a little unexpected extra cash before Christmas. :toot:

Hoping this will see me through the big releases of next year like Cyberpunk and then I can upgrade some other things like the CPU in a year or so.

Fantastic game, anyone who doesn't have this should pick it up.

Today's Epic store freebie is Little Inferno, a game about burning material possessions which seems apt for Christmas.

Went slightly crazy and picked up a 2070 Super. Should be arriving tomorrow - so excited to get it in and see what it can do! :toot:

I imagine it will probably help run games

For now my i7 7700 and RTX 2060 are doing fine so the next upgrade needs to be a bigger HDD and newer mobo (the one in use since getting the PC 4 years ago is likely gooseberry fool) and I definitely want a newer screen that's 1440p.

Got this in a Humble Bundle a few years ago and it's a lovely little game

Gets a bit weird and surprisingly deep towards the end too.
