Thinking about what version of Back for Blood to buy. I'm definitely going to buy the season pass anyway so I'm thinking of going for the deluxe, but if I'm going deluxe I may as well splash out another tenner and get the ultimate edition. I can see from how much I loved the beta it's a game I'll be playing for good number of hours/years.

Bought an unlocked i7 while building my current PC and was surprised to see it had been sent in a tiny box.

So, FIFA 22 (can't find the game's thread to gripe in!)...

Trying to play this with a PS4 pad is a strawberry floating trial. How on earth can one of the biggest publishers in the world release one of the biggest games in the world and not have any controller support for the biggest console in the world? I know W10 only has support for Xbox controllers built in, but far smaller games work absolutely fine (some even without DS4Windows). I don't get it. They even released the sodding game on the PS4 itself! Why does the pad not work on PC?! If you go into the directory (which I did when following all these guides on YouTube that don't work) there's a config file with data for all sorts of controllers from the likes of Saitek and Thrustmaster etc - JUST DO THE PS4, IT WOULD'VE TAKEN TEN MINUTES.

Had this issue with FIFA 18/19 and gave up after loads of faffing. Odd how some people get it working quickly and other not at all.

Yeah, agree with this. Loads of vids, should be able to find your card for the specifics of how to take apart. If it’s dead anyway, replace fans and thermal pads/paste.

Finally got around to doing this, and not only has it worked to bring the temps down by about 25 degrees and stop the card crashing, it's actually running quieter than it ever has as well. Can only assume the original thermal paste application was utter garbage, (it was everywhere, all over the smaller connectors surrounding the main chip,) and I've just been putting up with really loud fan noises this entire time thinking it was normal for a budget card.
