Finally got my new build working. Replaced my 1080 Ti, R7 2700, and B450-I with a 6800, R5 5600X, and B550-I. The motherboard comes with the ability to flash the BIOS to a new version without installing any hardware (and I definitely did not install everything before doing it
) but it was a bit temperamental so I had to give it a couple tries before it worked.
It's a nice case to work in, the NR200P. Easy to move the PSU cage around, install the SSDs, and cable manage. Good clearance on the bottom for airflow and mesh panels on all sides. Bit disappointed the back is so open though as it'll let a fair amount of dust in.
I've got the glass side panel on for the moment to see the
shit-brown fans LCD side-panel on the GPU but I think I'll swap it out for the mesh side panel as my airflow setup is a bit gooseberry fool and I can imagine the case becoming bit of a hot-box without optimising for airflow. Not sure if it is time to ditch the air cooler and get a liquid cooling system in the system.
