As expected the 3060TI was another 2 minute jobbie.

Stock was always going to be a gooseberry fool show for anything released this year, but it's getting ridiculous now!

Yeah that was ridiculous, tried to go for the founders, took about 8 attempts to do the captcha to get onto Scans site, and then the buy button wasn't there. Keep refreshing and then eventually it told me it was sold out.

Still have the AMD 6900XT on the 8th to go yet. Will this another paper launch or will more than 20 people get cards?

Yep exact same thing for me.

The captcha was almost a parody of bad captcha jokes.

Oh Scan's captcha is the worst.

I had a picture that wasn't of a boat but was clearly taken on a boat.

Apparently the prices were way above the RRP even at launch, which completely erases this card's purpose.

I've been using a Razer Deathadder for a few years and the feel is fantastic. The only fault is that the V1 failed on me after what, 20 months? Dust got into the left button mechanism and would constantly produce errant double clicks. I think it is a design issue and it is down to luck as to whether you'll come across the issue, even on the V2. Bit disappointing for a £50-60 mouse.

Stuck my new RAM in and after faffing in the BIOS for a while got it to work at the advertised settings. :datass:

Only needed to remove four screws to get to the RAM. I see that as a result. :dread:

After having a good google at mice today i think it is between the Logitech G502 and the Corsair M65. Just need to bit the bullet on one i am sure either will be fine.

I just seen the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GAMING OC Graphics Card price on Box. strawberry floating hell, it is £600, Currys is £410 which is about right.

You can get a 3070 (if they were in stock) for that.

I got an email notification that 3060s were in stock. Immediately went to the site. Out of stock.

Also they are now pricing 3060's at the price 3070s were originally listed as.

Same happened with the 3080 which quickly ramped up to 3090 prices, then the 3070 which went above 3080 prices very quickly.

It's all absolutely ridiculous.

Can't stand Linus Tech Tips, not sure why it irritates me so much. Much prefer Hardware unboxed or Digital Foundry.

I am a fan of Level1techs. Wendell does run of the mill stuff but always does hardware testing with Linux compatibility. He likes to talk about high level hardware stuff as well.

bit-tech as really good for custom case build porn. He does some lovely montages.

I don’t mind Linus but he has a whiney voice. Appeals to the hardware enthusiasts. Out of the tech reviewers one I not a fan of is that Marques Brownlee. I did like his videos and they are very well done/high quality but I don’t know, he’s just kinda boring and fake these days to me. Then again most are pretty fake. They hype everything it feels like they are sponsored in secret. Also needs to switch up and get some more interesting tech instead of every phone model that exists.
