3060ti FEs back in at Scan.

Had one in my basket and everything, but decided not to bite right now. Got my old GPU working again, and that does the job for me for the time being, and would rather spend the money on a Steam Deck when they're here. Can't justify the cost of both.

Yep. Best Nvidia scam going that.£1050 vs £650 for 2% more performance.

That's less than I paid for a MSI 3070. I'd be all over this for I needed a GPU.

I’ve had my 3060Ti from scan so I can’t get the 3080Ti and I don’t think it’s worth the £1050. It’s probably a good thing I did get the 3060Ti (for a build for my dad).

Hoping my EVGA 3080 notification will come up trumps. 3080 is what I want.

I've lost the page that had all the founder's edition cards on it :slol: Why don't they seem to even come up in the search?

They change them all the time to dodge the bots.

No way I'm getting an FE card if that's the time they go up for sale.

Yeah, they are normally 0930/1000. I’ve seen them at 1200 once I think.

The most recent God of War is out on Steam in January. Store page has just gone up.

Neat. Hope it's better optimised than Horizon was.

Just started horizon. Played on the PS4 but my word it’s stunning on PC, and with way over 60 FPS is smooth.

It was £10 from cdkeys. Not sure I’ll play through just now, but it looks amazing and I do want it for steam deck.

I wish the Steam Controller had a second stick on the right. Just tried Arkham Origins with it but the track pad just doesn't feel right for controlling the camera.

I'm considering buying a second PS5 controller so I don't have to keep switching my current controller between the PS5 and PC but £60 is a lot for a little convenience.

When I was using my Steam Controller I found the trackpad really good for camera control if I set it to emulate a mouse rather than a stick. Of course that use case depends a lot on how the game handles mixed inputs (gamepad + mouse). Some just don't handle it at all, while others don't care. Some games will allow it, but constantly be changing on-screen button prompts.

I think I played Arkham Asylum like that, but because it didn't like mixed inputs (can't remember how exactly) I set the left trackpad to WASD which was... not exactly ideal, but I liked it better that way than having the right pad emulate a stick for camera control.

Then there's the... mouse-like joystick setting I think it's called? There's no problems with mixed inputs if you use that setting. It might take a bit of work to get it working correctly (and helps if you can increase the camera sensitivity in-game).

I've got a mini Hori PS4 controller that I bought for about £20 for this purpose. It's a lovely pad but it's sometimes hard to get the compatibility fully sorted. Untitled Goose Game worked perfectly without DS4Windows even installed. Most games work fine with DS4W running (you might need to add the game on Steam). FIFA won't recognise it at all, which is unforgivable in my opinion! Xbox controllers are supposedly 100% compatible because Microsoft baked the drivers into W10 so if you're not too set on PlayStation controllers you might want to consider that option.
