This guy does blogs on old games. Each blog post also contains a link to let you download them, complete with custom installers.

So if you want to play Final Unity (It's on there), just use his download link, run the installer and it'll create a shortcut to the installed game for a simple launch. So in TNG's case, it's a pre-configured DosBox and it just runs.

There's so much gold on that site. So much shite as well, but that's part of the charm.

EDIT: He covers loads of systems as well. So any console, or non-PC games come with pre-configured emulators. It's a different approach but I really like it.

He recently did all the old PC Terminator games that Bethesda made in the 90s.

Loads of old forgotten and obscure stuff.

Yeah I've spent a few hours before just going through his posts (There are a few hundred dating back four years) and finding all these really old games that I forgot even existed or never knew about.

EDIT: Here's a good example.

A windows port of a Silent Hill lightgun shooter from 2007. What the actual strawberry float.

There were Terminator games on PC by Bethesda? Know if they were any good?

They were ok FPS games for the time.

I think one of them was the first fully 3D one, pre-dating Quake.

I may have a look. I'm going to bookmark that site, though. It sounds ace.

Mentioned it in the bargains thread but worth putting here too: Crusader Kings 2 is currently free on Steam.

I swear one day I'll actually learn how to play the strawberry floating thing

Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5 £12.32 each using the code DEVILSMANUAL over at Gamersgate!

There are a few other Capcom titles in the sale, nabbed myself Onimusha Warlords for £7.20 along with Resident Evil 2, which I've been waiting for it to drop below £20 over at CDKeys.

Ooh £12 for Resi 2 Remake is a real tempter...

What's the PC port like performance wise?

I pirated it once on PC only because I owned the Deluxe Edition on PS4 since release and wasn't wanting to stump up the price at the time for a 2nd copy, it ran spot on and looked so much better than on console using presets to remove the tint the game has. Only problem was I couldn't mod it properly bar changing outfit appearances etc.

Awesome, that's good to know. Fairly certain I'll be picking that one up! :toot:

Looks like this code expired. Not working anymore.

Sorry about that bud, worked when I posted as I used it for RE2. Still worth the £16 without the code :datass:
