Uninstalled a tonne of games across Steam, GoG, Origin and Uplay this morning. Freebies, completed titles I won't return to and games I bought (mainly in sales) that I played for 5 minutes and never returned to and probably never will.

I've reeled in my PC game buying considerably.

It feels good to Marie Kondo your games collection - I've cut back considerably and don't miss the vast majority of them, PC or console.

HDD cleaning is like a little mini-game I get to engage in every few months. It's often a more difficult decision than those in BioShock or Mass Effect that's for sure

I had to look up who that was. Now I know.

Also deleted some digital games from my PS4.

I did spend a bit of time trying to decide on a few titles but I had to be realistic. For example, am I ever going to return to Elite Dangerous even though I've only put about 30 hours into it? It's been sat on my HDD for about two years unplayed. Uninstalled.

Yeah. My difficult deletions are usually highly recommended indie games that I know I'll probably never play. Pony Island's been sat on my desktop for years now.

Looking for recommendations for a 4k monitor in the £200-£300 range. 27/28in preferable.

Been using my TV for ages and it's been perfectly fine but in my new setup the TV isnt really an option anymore so wanting to get something proper for the job.

My biggest library by far is on Steam, and I found their categorization tool really handy. Anything I don't want to see I've put in "Archive" and it's much cleaner.

It wont blow you away but it is an IPS monitor and response time is about 5ms. There is another in the line an LG 27UL500 that has the tilt and rotate screen functions removed that may be cheaper.

The benefit of having a 10tb drive is I can have over 150 games installed and not feel any pain.

I only have 471 games on steam. I'm not ROG. It comes to about 1.9TB for my steam folder as I have star citizen, DCS and X-Plane 11 on a 1 tb NVME drive. I have a 1TV Sata ssd with some ubi games and minecraft along with GTA5.

What happened to PhysX cards?

Are people uninstalling as in completely removing or just backing up to a secondary drive?

Most of my library is downloaded and backed up to secondary storage, then the games I'm actively playing are transferred across to the primary SSD.

No one bought them as graphics cards became pretty powerfull, also game devs didn't really bother with putting it their games. It were a fad m'lad.

Completely uninstalling. Not so much a storage issue (I've 4tb of space to play with) just a removal of titles I'm 100% sure I'll never return to. It's a psychological thing as I'm now more relaxed about my BC

That's a shame as I thought the idea was really interesting.
I know everyone bangs on about graphics (as do I) but I think having really awesome physics can change a game in pretty huge ways. Little things like having super realistic wind effects and the grass and plants reacting to you tramping through them just make things somehow better.
