Genuinely interested in that to be fair. I've heard good things about it.

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2020/0 ... en-leaked/

Source code for TF2 and CSGO has been leaked online, leading to a lot of communities taking down their servers to avoid the risk of any security vulnerabilities being exploited. There are also unconfirmed rumours of remote executables being run to infect players' PCs, but it's hard to tell what's wild unverified speculation and scare stories from actual incidences of this, not seen any reputable sources confirm it.

Sanctuary Bundle @ Fanatical Games - £4.79

The ultimate lockdown bundle...

Now more than ever, it’s vital that we stay indoors and that’s why we’ve put together an exclusive bundle of great Steam games to keep you entertained... the Sanctuary Bundle is here.

Featuring eight games and two DLCs, let your creativity run wild in classic sims, wage war against monstrous foes in action-packed FPS and strategical combat, embark on a story rich journey in a post-apocalyptic world and much more!

Create and run your own amazing theme parks with two of the most beloved strategy sims and three jam-packed expansions in RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic; take on Hell's most ghastly creatures in retro DOOM-style combat with Blood: Fresh Supply; and enjoy top-down action as you hack and smash your way through enemies with Redeemer: Enhanced Edition.

Craft weapons and manage your survivors in a thrilling wartime adventure with This War of Mine & This War of Mine: Stories - Season Pass; and enter a gripping, brutal campaign as either the Space Wolves or the dreaded Orks in turn-based strategy Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach.

Test your skills at surviving a zombie apocalypse with a collection of atmospheric titles from Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead series. Follow Lee and Clementine’s journey from the beginning of the outbreak as they search for her parents while seeking shelter, making new friends and potential enemies, and making sacrifices along the way in The Walking Dead Season One; and experience five linked stories of survival in the wake of the zombie apocalypse with The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC, which affects how your story continues in the next series.

Learn more about the backstory of an iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman's best-selling comic books and the TV show with The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries; and continue to test your morals and your instinct for survival as a slightly older Clementine in The Walking Dead: Season 2.

Telltales The Walking Dead Season 1 + 400 Days DLC, Season 2 and Michone.
Blood Fresh Supply.
Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic.
Warhammer 40,000 Sanctus Reach.
This War of Mine + This War of Mine Stories.
Redeemer Enhanced Edition.

Turns out the leak was actually of code from like 2017 and isn't affecting builds now.

It was leaked beforehand and it's being reported on now for some reason.

Not going to lie, Total War games are far too taxing for my brain.

Have tried playing several of them over the years and just can't get into them.

Man, finding this thread was a mission - didn't even know this was the PC gaming thread until I randomly clicked on it in exasperation!

I've tried to recover my old steam account to play games on my new(ish) pc.
I haven't logged into it since, maybe 2013/2014.

Done the forgotten password malarkey, and then entered the confirmation code from the email.
But then it says my account isn't eligible for recovery.

I've contacted helpdesk about it, but I'm waiting to hear back.

Am I strawberry floated, basically? Are all my old games lost in time, like tears in rain?

From what I gather Steam support are generally pretty good, just not very prompt, so you might have to wait a little while.

I always love when I get a new PC or upgrade and go back to play some old game. Seeing the new machine blitz through games that used to destroy an old one will never cease to be a fun exercise!

My Logitech G500 seems to be crapping out after seven and a half years of use, with constant double clicks being registered if I don't press in just the right place.

Are Logitech still generally making the best mice, so a G402 might be my most suitable replacement?

I've got a G403 and it's been great so far. No frills and works pretty well.
