My G502's got one, it's supposed to be useful for aiming/sniping in FPSs. Never use it.

I think that would be my outcome of getting any kind of more advanced mouse, I just wouldn't end up taking advantage of any of the features!

I can see the benefit in a couple more buttons, maybe something where the thumb rests on the side but that's about it for me!

Cheesing it does mean you miss out on the chance of acquiring the Deathadder Cable Axe though which is a great weapon to have at that stage in the game

It’s more focused towards games with no ADS so you can aim with more finesse when you need to. With ADS, you can often just reduce your sensitivity for that mode enough that you get the same effect, but for battle royales you might find that too sluggish if you’re sniping over a wide area or quickly having to snap between a few targets.

I find it immensely useful just as a “calm down” button. When I’m trying to snipe a fast moving target or in a frantic fight it helps me take a breath and corrects my usual adrenaline-fuelled jitteriness. But I don’t need it if I’m mopping up a downed enemy or if I have the drop on someone.

Since moving to 5120x1440, it’s also been valuable just for clicking on things in the desktop while having the base sensitivity up high enough that I’m not having to do wild motions to get from one side of the screen to the other

Never going to get this strawberry floating PC built

All their keyboards are named after spiders and their gaming headsets are mythical sea creatures.

Ugh, unlucky Taf hope you don't have to wait too long.

Had my first "gooseberry fool, something's wrong!" moment with my new build today. Fired it up and jumped into a game and everything was running poorly, lower FPS, GPU and CPU use through the roof etc. Thought maybe something was up with drivers or possibly worse... Nope turns out for some reason it had decided to output at 4K and understandably that res with every setting still up at max was somewhat pushing things!

It's honestly so strawberry floating weird over here. There are about 4 places you can safely get PC components online that are mainland France based, and all of them seem to whack an extra 50 euros onto the price. It also means that when supply is gone it is gone

Oh well :(

The next few months are going to be a nightmare to get parts. Shortages of everything except cases and motherboards.

This is why I compromised on a last gen CPU and stuck with my existing GPU. I know the stock will come eventually and ultimately the newer tech will perform better, but I wanted something now

So that power unit I ordered after the first one went from "delivery next week" to "delivery maybe sometime in December perhaps?"

It's now showing simply as "Not available."

I strawberry floating swear. There are a grand total of zero computer components available in mainland France.

When I say "zero" I guess I mean "zero at prices that are anywhere near reasonable". There's stock but you're looking at anywhere from €50-100 above RRP. I've looked at some UK sites but there's no stock there either.

I've upgraded a bunch of times and never seen anything like this.
