That was fun but was a bit corny at times.

It's when Root said they are last gen that made me giggle. Oh and while they were overheating they said it was overclocking it's self.

I can sort of accept the 2nd thing, an advanced AI probably would be capable of overclocking it's own hardware

Edit: Just realised what you meant The show writers didn't mean overclocking, they meant overheating

5x04- So much fan service in that episode. :datass:

It was nice to see Shaw again but I called the episode being a hallucination so early on that I could never really get into it.

I thought it was a good episode, doesn't look to good for Sameen atm though and I doubt she'll survive until the finale.

I only realised the whole thing was a simulation when she shot Reese but there were probably a few other hints earlier on that I missed

5x05- Elias 8-) If Carter didn't have a new show, they'd probably bring her back too.

One thing which bothered me was how long it took them to realise Samaritan was behind the nefarious plot. When isn't Samaritan behind a nefarious plot?

I think they're probably a bit distracted with the constant threat of imminent death to properly deal with number cases, especially when the machine is running on 200 recycled PS3s

I love this show. So much goodness already.
Very pleased to see Shaw and Greer again, but Elias most of all. Hopefully he will band together with our heroes to form a super team to destroy Greer and Samaritan!

507 & 508

Guess that's why they can't find Shaw then.

Is Samaritan planning on worldwide genocide?

I honestly thought the whole aim was to kill John and Harold, seemed like a clever way to lure them into a trap.

Really enjoying this season, seems such a shame it has been cancelled. I get that the series kinda went too far down the rabbit hole last season and so became a bit less of a casual watch, but it really is great TV

I'm actually glad it's been cancelled with a 13 episode season because it provides enough episodes that they should be able to wrap things up, it means it doesn't go way past its sell by date and with a reduced season means we get no filler episodes.

The worst way to cancel a show is without allowing further episodes to be made to finish story arcs. I feared season 4 would be exactly that.

Can't wait to see The Machine upgraded with Root's morals/coding to help it fight back and win. Least that's how I think the story will go. :datass:
