Anyone considering preordering this or played it already? Pretty sure I'll get it on PS4, just don't know whether I'm ready to buy at launch yet.

I've pre ordered on PS4 (to play on PS5), looks lovely and I've not played any persona but this looks like a much better way into the series for me. Love Musou games and the developers seem to do their best work with games from series they don't own, Hyrule, fire emblem, one piece etc. If it is amazing and runs well enough I'll get it on switch too.

I've got this pre-ordered too. A bit disappointing they're not doing a steelbook, as I have one for Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal.

I hadn't got very far in Royal, so I've gone back to playing it and aim to finish before Strikers arrives.

Pleased I'll be playing on PS5

I've just pre-ordered on PS4. Would be too jealous of everyone else playing at launch to not go ahead. All the previews make it look like a true sequel. Very excited.

Review embargo lifts at 3pm. Not sure why the embargo was necessary given that this has been out for nearly a year already in Japan?

Anticipating somewhere around a 75% Metacritic average.

I haven't been paying much attention to this, do we know whether this game's story is treating P5 or P5 Royal as the canon prequel?

From what I've read, you don't need to have played Royal, so would assume base game is canon?

That's a relief. Much as I'd like to play Royal, it just seems like far too much of a commitment at the moment!

Positive reviews so far. IGN said it could easily be called persona 5 - 2. Also that th comabt is more than Musou, more like kingdom hearts it FF 7 Remake.

Can't wait to get into it.

Looking forward to it, might get it on Switch.

My copy preordered from Game Collection hasn't arrived. Worryingly, not even got a dispatch email.

EDIT: Ignore me, had it in my head it was due 20th Feb because that was Japan's release date last year. Twitter says they're dispatching on Monday.

Just started this. It's so pretty. Easily the best looking Musou game ever. Huge amount of personality and feels like a very classy game. Playing on PlayStation 5.

I will be picking this up at some point just waiting to clear a few more games off
