Does the PSN version of this on PS4 come with the same extras as the physical day 1 edition?

Can we do local co-op against someone online? I couldn't see any option on online divisions.

Really loving this game, and although there are a few improvements to be made, it is the best footie game for 2 generations!

I think it does, Maf, but it's definitely better to pick up the digital edition for the current £24 price point.

There were various editions with the difference being how many 'UEFA Team of The Year' random players you got and how many MyClub points you were awarded. I believe the current digital edition grants two players (Mario Gotze plus a 'team of the year' player) and some points. The pre-oder digital edition granted three players (Gotze plus two others at random) and more points... but that wasn't worth me paying the extra £26 :x .

It's a bargain at the current price.

Cheers just bought it, contacted Tesco for a refund since that copy has obviously been lost in the post (I don't think that came with Gotze either). Gonna take ages to download but I won't have time to play it properly till tomorrow night anyway.

 I don't blame you for being pissed off at the price. Didn't realise it came out less than a month ago and it's on sale for less than half price, that's pretty annoying for anyone that bought it.

Indeed... I've ranted a bit already. I paid £50 three weeks ago, was over-charged and had to claim a refund of the difference, and it has only worked online for the past week and a bit.

But, Konami rubbishness aside, it's still a contender for my Game of The Year .

Tried the demo the other week and it felt so good and much better than FIFA (which is getting traded in ASAP)

good choice, i think it really is much better. There are so many issues with FIFA where it just makes you rage how bad the AI is and the issues it can cause you and the players just not paying any attention to your tactical switches and how you would like a team to play. With PES it's instantly noticeable that if you say set a player to be a DM and sometimes a really deep lying DM they do what you want and also as in a modern day style will sometimes drop in between the two centre backs.

To me this makes a world of a difference as i'm a bit of a tactics nut and love changing it mid game as tactical switches should make a difference but within FIFA this just didn't work enough and when you shove in the suicidal defending , the weird keeping and the new bodged defending FIFA is a bit of a shambles to me and it seems to a lot of football fans who want a good game.

Does anyone else experience momentary stuttering in this?

Yes. Quite annoying. I was staggered that Digital Foundry didn't pick up on it. I can't imagine what causes it, but it's happened to me at a few really inopportune moments. :|

Even though it's only a fraction of a second, it seems to completely cancel out any button presses. I've missed quite a lot of perfect opportunities for through balls and passes as a result.

i haven't had any yet. It's all been very smooth.

By the way loving this game loads, I've been playing the online divisions and i'm into league 11 now, I've also been playing as other teams and for some reason i am really enjoying being Shaktar Donetsk. Their team is mainly made up of lightning fast skilful brazilians because of this though i have had to tweak my tactics a bit to make everything very short passing and counter attacking . It's taking some getting use to but once i switched formations to a 433 and found the right combo of players in the right positions everything just clicked and i hammered someone who was Real Madrid 3-1 . I had a ton of possession and they couldn't get anywhere near me as i was creating so many triangles of passing it was just a load of keep ball. Adriano up front is also a quality finisher on the ball.

I've not experienced any stutters yet. I've only played the Online Divisions mode and I'm in Division 11. I'm playing pretty poorly, though - I think my record is Played 17, Won 2, Drawn 4, Lost 11. I have been choosing lower teams, though - bar in my two victories. As ever, most folk seem to choose Real / Barca / Bayern / City. I gotta improve my finishing - I'm making chances but not taking them.

The game has the right 'feel' and I'm really enjoying it so far.

remember get the angle and use r2 if you have time or a good angle. It adds curl to the shot and is awesome for rounding it past the keeper, the good thing with the seasons is that if you use a lower team you get more points overall and way more for a win than using teams like madrid. It's a challenge but it's a great feeling to win with a lower team over the usual madrid lot etc.

Cheers, degoose - I had held off from using the R2 'placement' shot so I'll give it a go.

I took a few defeats on the bounce yesterday, but I ended the session by choosing Arsenal (North London) and defeating some guy using Real Madrid 3-1. That felt good!

Arsenal have been my go-to team, actually. They are nice and fast, which is my preferred attribute.

Just led Everton to a magnificent victory over Barca. After a very poor run of form I was playing well and went 2-0 up in the second half... and my opponent just rage-quit, thus ensuring that I gained a 3-0 victory.

It amazes me when people rage-quit. So baby-ish!

Sold Fifa for this following the online sale the other day, this is so much better  I've been playing the online divisions as the mighty Merseyside Blue, first five matches I've come up against Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barca, PSG and Manchester United :dread: Four wins out of five though 8-)

Is this still £25?

Fabian Delph is a banana split.
