eFootball 2022

Awesome. I want to see less Scripting within the game, and would like teams to play realistically well to beat you, rather than the game suddenly turning some random player or entire team into Messi clones

I was playing on Sunday, and "Werner" my secondary Striker hit the post 5 times within one game. I dominated 90% of the game, with their keeper making superhuman save after save. I ended up losing 1-0 to Burnley and had about 15 shots on goal to their 2. My Goalkeeper (rating 90), made no attempt to save their one shot on target.

I appreciate anything can happen in football but sometimes it really feels like the game has decided whether you are going to win/lose before a ball is even kicked.

More licenses as well please, and a fleshed out Master League mode.

Re: PES 2020 - Due to be unveiled at E3, what do you want to see?

This would be nice but, alas, EA has massively deep pockets and ties up most licences with exclusive rights. Tbh I find that Option Files get around this issue anyway; for the past few years I've played PES with proper kits, leagues and trophies. Unfortunately this option only exists for the PlayStation format and not (yet) Xbox, though.

Just watched that vid in the opening post... it looks fantastic!

Man, I was *thinking* of holding off from PES this year but, nah, I'm totally in for this!

Oh, and a new name? eFootball PES. I guess that the eFootball bit will gradually replace the PES name.

Maybe it's lack of faith in the brand, seems like they next version will likely be called eFootball 2021.

Similar to how they dropped the ISS brand after a couple of years...

ISS > ISS Pro > ISS Pro Evolution > Pro Evolution Soccer

...the naming has always been terrible, simply calling it "International Soccer" or something in the first place would have sufficed.

At least its now football and not soccer, which was just stupid and ironic considering everyone in the US buys fifa, not Pro! I hope this is great, but the videos don't really show much of an improvement. The new camera angle is a smoke screen!
