Prefer it over a mouse for most things tbh

I think they need to change the names of their accessories. Magic just seems like a joke these days...maybe 10 years ago but not anymore.

The products still look amazing but the branding is getting dated.

The gestures are quite good but I just use hot corners and a three button mouse which is better for productivity work,

But for casual use a giant trackpad is quite nice. It's not obvious the apple ones are really a lot, lot better than your average touchpad on a laptop. Most of those are gooseberry fool.

Not sure why you don't just call it a laptop though maf. Don't let Apple brand normal words (although I'm pretty sure laptop was a brand as well).

MP3 player
Phone
Laptop
Computer

In case anyone forgets. It'll be the car next. "So I had just stepped into my iCar and I couldn't find my iPhone. Worst of all, I didn't have any iShades (or USB ports)." :dread:

btw I use a MacBook and iPad lol

I picked up a Surface Pro 4 for the wife a couple of years back and have to say it's a fantastic bit of kit! The screen is brilliant on it and the performance is surprisingly great as well considering I only went for the low end model. Oh and the Type Cover keyboard is fantastic as well.

The fact that it is a tablet and a fully functional Windows PC at the same time is the best bit though, still can't believe that Apple are trying to charge people ridiculous sums for the "iPad Pro" when it still fails to function as a fully fledged laptop replacement. Either put MacOS on a tablet and make it work properly or keep your pro and consumer lines separate and don't try to satisfy people with a half baked offering!

Does anyone now use trackballs?

I remember going bonkers about them in my Amiga days but now just use a mouse again.

Some professional CAD users do to prevent RSI and rotate objects and things in 3D space.

Trackballs are really cool for 3D rotation, but for moving a cursor across a 2D rectangular screen? No thanks

That's why you get a mouse with a trackball in it.

I've purchased a new hair straightener because my old flat iron is broken. It's a Dafni straightening brush with the ceramic surface.

I should say that it's definitely better than other tools I tried for straightening my hair before. And I can be sure I won't burn my hair as I used to before :)
