I will have to update my business nomenclature from Atelier to Aritisnal, I was not aware this was the preferred term for the finer arts, thank you for the update. It is a sign of the times I suppose, these days you could step outside proudly wearing your elegant top hat or graduation gown and think you were in a different country what with all that jabber and jive! What is the world coming too, I studied English (English Language and English Literature, double A, national curricular level 7) and I can barely function! Not without the translation device I picked up from the Amazonians;- fabulous device and quite the marvel of modern technology, perhaps even more impressive than the additional dimensions people are inventing. We are truly of the renaissance. Now I'm off to the races.

Ps please forward me an address to which I can direct a purchase order for those fine sounding Sha Tin porcelainware.

JobbyWorks Atelier was a proud company, and we were happy to purchase from Sha Tin Furniture and Fixtures.

You worked there before getting into residential noise ordinance, right?

Couple of quick recommendations and avoids:

Do buy Uniqlo's heattech / lined trousers. They do the job of keeping you warm, feel cosy against the skin and look smart.

Avoid Threadless! *Every* *single* one of the designs on their regularly printed t-shirts (i.e. not including the sublimation/all-over printed tees) has, over a short period of time, faded to buggery. On the one hand this gives the t-shirts a cool retro look, on the other hand you can't see the print you liked the look of! You'd also be polluting the environment what with the print particulates being washed away. (This is def down to the t-shirts and not my washing or ironing technique: all other print t-shirts bought from other sources are holding up fine. Even gooseberry fool I bought from Qwertee *YEARS* ago.)

Don't use bio

They've probably switched to DTG and perhaps aren't bothering to pretreat the garments properly because it involves an extra step.

Those will fade quite a bit over time.

I wouldn't worry about particulate though, those are water based inks with no particularly high pigment. It's bad PVC prints that are a problem.

If they aren't using combed cotton for DTG, which they're probably not because cheap, that'll have an impact as well.

If they're using inkjet transfers for some reason, then lol. Not at that scale surely.

I have a few screen printed ones from about 15 years ago that are still good prints. But the fabric weight is laughable. Gotta be around 130-140g/m2 at best. I use 205g/m2.

I got a heattech turtleneck top the other week and it's great https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/me ... hirts-tops

Also got the seamless down parka (navy) in the Black Friday sale which is toasty as strawberry float https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/me ... 42147.html

Love the turtlenecks. (I've got 3 of the thicker ones, and one of the thermal top.) The ultrawarm doesn't feel all that thick compared to other such garments but it still works really well.

I had my eye on their red 2021 parka. The one with buttons down the front. Would have bought it if not for splurging so much on Xbox and GP Ultimate. Maybe in the New Year...

Found these in Lidl today, a pack of three pairs of posh Benetton socks for £10 (normal price £20).

The designs are slightly different to what's shown here, but it's basically the same product as the box is exactly the same.
