Going to use one to keep track of my gym sessions as I really don't like using apps to track it. And another one to use as a kind of diary. The cover is like faux leather and feels really nice, the paper is silk smooth and nice to write on.

I used to buy broken old computers repair them fill them with open source educational software and then donate them to local nurseries and stuf.

The PS3 is one of those 12gig super Slim's it turns out, I'm going to look for a cheap one of those caddy's it needs for a hardrive , looking forward to tinkering with it, heck if the PS4 is bust bust I can strip the hardrive out of that for it :)

I got a new hard drive for my super slim the other month, not entirely sure the caddy is necessary to be honest, some sticky pads to wedge it in would probably do. I don't have anything, it's just wobbling in the slot :datass:

Thats it! Its reduced, other colour are like £20. The Moleskine was £15.99 similar size. Hopefully it will encourage me to write more meaningful notes day to day.

I did push a hard drive in the hole and feel it click in place and started wondering if I could just hodge podge it with stuff I have laying around , so I guess you have answerd my curiosity there.

I ended up getting the PS4 working and so now my daughter owns it, so I guess the 250Gig hardrive I have laying around will be its hardrive now.

It will unless you worry about writing in it because the book is nice.

Please don't do that.

I have about 20 moleskin cahiers but I prefer filofax for re-organisation and clippings for business.

I was at first but then thought no why should I...it feels great having a gym diary. I don't even try to write super neat either, just my usual handwriting. The Rhodia has better paper than the Moleskine one it seems. Wow 20?! Filofax looks good...especially with the refills.

Don't get into Filofax it's murderously expensive. I got a leather second hand A5 one for about £40 I've used for the past 7 years or so.

Leuchtturm are also very good, they have a dot quadrilled which is useful for a mixture of writing and diagrams or tables without looking distracting like quadriled does.

Moleskin are only really good for writing a lot of notes because of the value and their professional "folio" books are not really that good, the paper is too waxy and shiny so more for presentations and sticking things in and maybe drawing/writing with alcohol or pigment based inks or very good gel inks like uniball JetStream. But their cahiers you can get in packs of 3, they don't look fancy but they work well, I made a library of university journals with them and they tidy away nicely.

But yeah some people don't like the thin Italian style moleskin papers although they're actually made in Chinese paper mills. Nothing wrong with that since China have been making paper since before anyone except the Egyptians. I just find them very consistent and inexpensive and the colour easier to read.

I put a lot of effort into my writing and at college I used to have giant wads of ruled paper that exploded everywhere, I'm so glad I don't do that anymore, I always write in some kind of book.

Thanks Dowbocop, after reading this I got to thinking and I grabbed an old broken laptop and I managed to get this big piece of heatsinking material and it worked perfectly to hold a drive in place.. I didnt end up putting the 500gig hardrive out of the PS4 in it because I got the PS4 up and working and my daughter claimed it, I did however find a 250gig Hardrive I had which has worked well for me , I have installed the 45ish PS1 games I digitally own onto it and there are bags and bags of spare room.

I'm looking forward to the post detailing the results with a flag for every country contributing more than 5%. It'll be like the outside of the United Nations.

I have taken the test and posted it, hopefully the results won't take a long time, it says they can take up to 6 weeks

By the way I was joking in that pm where I said you get better results if you just spunk directly in to the envelope.

Your ancestors dragged themselves out of a primordial soup of amoebas 3.5 billion years ago.

I'll only charge you a tenner for that.
